The end beam is a complete driving unit for track travel. It can be directly connected to the main beam structure and adopts a box beam design.

The crane end beam refers to the trolley running part of the crane, which is connected to the main beam. It is the place where there are four wheels at both ends of the crane beam, two wheels on one side, one driving wheel and one driven wheel.
 

The end beam part plays an important role in the crane. It is a key component for carrying translational transportation. The end beam part is composed of a wheel combined end beam frame. The end beam part mainly consists of an upper cover plate, a web plate and a lower cover plate; the end beam is made up of two sections connected by high-strength bolts through a connecting plate and an angle steel. Reinforcement ribs are provided inside the end beam to ensure the stability of the end beam frame after loading. The main dimensions of the end beam are determined based on the span of the main beam, the wheelbase of the trolley and the track gauge of the trolley; the operation of the trolley adopts a separate transmission scheme. When assembling the crane, first connect one section of the end beam to one of the main beams, and then connect the two sections of the end beam.

 

The end beam is divided into a single-beam crane end beam and a double-beam crane end beam.

 

The crane end beam device includes an end beam, two buffers, a driving wheel mechanism, a passive wheel and a connecting mechanism. The two buffers are respectively fixed on the outer sides of the two ends of the end beam. The driving wheel mechanism includes a driving wheel, a driving motor and a driving motor protection structure. The driving wheel is supported in one end of the end beam through a driving wheel shaft, the driving motor is fixed on one side of the end beam, and the passive wheel is supported in the other end of the end beam through a passive wheel shaft. The end beam is fixedly connected into a box structure by two parallel webs, two track sweeping plates, an upper cover plate, a lower cover plate and a plurality of rib plates. The end beam has a simple structure, is easy to process, has low assembly precision requirements, is low in cost, and has high bearing strength. A connecting mechanism is set in the middle of the end beam. During assembly, it is only necessary to adjust the relative positions of the stoppers at both ends of the main beam and the end beam connecting mechanism once for positioning and connection, so as to ensure the span of the whole machine, make the force on the end beam more reasonable, make the whole machine reliable, have high working efficiency and save materials.
